By Lisa Unger

A Fabulous Psychological Thriller with a Gothic Feel

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

SUMMARY

Rosie and Chad Lowan are the new owners of a charming apartment in a luxury building located in New York City. The apartment was left to them by Chad's uncle, and it even comes with a doorman. The tenants in the building are friendly, but Rosie, who is writing a book about the building, starts to suspect that something strange is going on as she settles in. She notices that the doorman is always on duty, and there seem to be surveillance cameras everywhere. Her research into the history of the building reveals a long list of crimes that have taken place over the years. When one of their neighbors is found dead, Rosie decides to investigate further.

REVIEW

THE NEW COUPLE IN 5B is a gripping psychological thriller with a gothic atmosphere. Rosie, the protagonist, possesses paranormal visions that add to the eerie ambiance of the story. The plot is fascinating and keeps the reader guessing until the end, with a wide range of characters that could be the culprit.

Rosie does an excellent job of guiding us through her tale, and the reader can easily empathize with her curiosity, stress, uncertainty, and fear. The narrative is smartly crafted and robust, and there is never a dull moment throughout the story. Fans of mystery novels will undoubtedly enjoy it.
