A tight and twisty domestic drama that will leave you speechless.
Piper Reynard is new in the town of Westport, Connecticut. She just moved from the West coast. She has opened a rehab and wellness space and joined a local yacht club. Now she is looking for a relationship and has set her sights on Leo Drakos, a handsome, successful lawyer, with a wedding ring. But that doesn’t stop Piper. She’s been down that road before.
At home, Joanna has been waiting patiently for Leo, the man she fell in love with, to re-emerge from the severe depression that has engulfed him. When Leo finally begins to return to himself, paying attention to Evie and Stelli, the children they both love, Joanna is shocked to discover that it’s not her loving support that’s sparked his renewed happiness—it’s Piper.
Joanna is devastated—and determined to find something, anything, to use against this woman who has stolen her life and her true love. As she digs deeper into Piper’s past, Joanna begins to unearth disturbing secrets . . .
I was gobsmacked! THE WIFE STALKER is a creatively woven domestic drama with twists that will leave you speechless. The story is smartly structured, alternating between Joanna and Piper’s perspectives.
Both Joanna and Piper’s characters are intriguing. Piper was new agey and all full of mystery. She moved across the country and has no social media presence. Was she hiding something? Joana loves Leo and the kids and would do anything for them, and she just want to protect them from Piper.
My favorite part was Joanna perseverance in investigating Piper’s history. Although at times obsessive, she brought some intriguing information to light. She may just be on the right track...are the kids really safe with Piper?
Liv Constantine is the pen name for sisters, Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine. Separated by three hours the sisters spend time plotting stories via FaceTime. Their writing for THE WIFE STALKER is engaging and they draw you into this fast moving story. They have plenty of tricks up their sleeves and have cleverly woven a intriguing tale that will leave you gobsmacked!
